“Elegant Trees to fill your home next Christmas”

Forevermore Trees came about because I was tired of cleaning up after real Christmas trees.

Fixing them once they inevitably fell over and watering them every day so we still had a green tree on Christmas day. Fake Christmas trees, with the lights built-in, ranging from $100-$600, also weren't going to cut it because they always look a bit dishevelled after hastily being stored away year after year. Not to mention, a lot of plastic to buy into again if it needs replacing. Of course, I dabbled into other alternative trees for the festive season, driftwood at the beach (I live in New Zealand, and Christmas is in the summertime), a vine trainer covered with fabric and lights, and then wooden dowels with twine.

Prototype one…

I saw a photo on the internet of a tree made out of green baubles hanging from the ceiling in a small apartment. I was inspired instantly! Using the year prior's colour theme of white and silver, the very first prototype was made out of a couple of cake cooling racks, awkwardly attached to a concrete partition wall but it managed to hang the sparkling decorations grandly from a height. Sounds elaborate (cause it was) but what was dangling below looked stunning!

I've been setting up the same tree for the last 6 years with the same result of visitors absolutely loving the unique tree and wanting their own.

I launched a website and Instagram to gauge interest about a week away from Christmas of 2020.

There wasn't a lot of interest from outside sources but I've put that down to my minimal marketing skills and launching so close to the busiest time of the year.

I intend to look into having this business going at some point in the future, at this point it's just not right.
